FGX Joins Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce at”Young Entrepreneur” Event
Last week, our effervescent relationship manager Lisa Silhanek and other FGXers painted the town red
by joining the Spain-U.S. Chamber of Commerce in honoring Luis Alvarez, President of Wonderland Group. Alvarez received the institution’s first “Young Entrepreneur Award.” At only 35 years old, Luis has an amazing record: He’s breathed new life into a dilapidated theater in Madrid and turned it into a magnet for great shows. He helped develop a mega-hit musical based on the greatest hits of the band Queen, which played for several years in Spain and London.

He has acquired the worldwide rights to produce 101 Dalmatians as a musical (which he’s already produced to great success in Spain). And now, he’s come to New York City to do for the Hammerstein Ballroom what he did for his theater in Madrid. All in all, he’s shaking up the world of theater, and changing the rules of the game.

FGX was proud to attend this event, because Luis Alvarez and the Wonderland Group bring a vibrant, youthful energy to the world of theater. He has bold initiatives, and he’s not afraid to take on tremendous challenges. Luis Alvarez is a dreamer, and he dares to believe he can turn his dreams into reality.

At FGX, we also dream big: we seek to be the most environmentally responsible international shipper in the industry. It’s a huge challenge, and we work to achieve it every day. For this reason, we take particular pleaseure in congratulating people like Luis, who dare to dream, and who believe in their own power to bring change to the industries in which they work.
Congratulations Luis and cheers to the FGX team members that showed support for this young entrepreneur.
